Disney on Ice

For Carter's Birthday we decided to take him to Disney On Ices instead of buying more toys!!! He was so excited to see his "girlfriend" Ariel, Minnie, Mickey and all his favorite characters. Of course Chase and I vowed we wouldn't buy anything for him and he left with more than he could carry...but that's what birthdays are for right?!?! We spent the rest of the day in SLC shopping, eating and spending time with Carter's Grandpa Cutler. All in all a great day and a wonderful way to end the birthday celebrations.

An Exciting End to the Birthday!

On Carter's third birthday we did everything he wanted to do and even took an extra trip to the ER!! After a fun filled day with out sweet birthday boy, we were settling down to watch a movie when Carter tripped and fell. He smacked his head on our media center and we quickly headed off to the ER...well Chase and Carter did and I followed with Ava. Luckily my parents were around to take Ava back home and the three of us had an exciting evening at the hospital. Carter was the talk of the ER, since he was flirting with all the nurses and doing kung fu moves while he was getting his 3 stitches. Needless to say he was a little rock star and didn't cry once, although it scares me a bit that he is so comfortable at the hospital. All I am hoping for is to not make it back for 4 stitches on his 4th birthday!!

Ava's Photo Shoot

A few months ago, I got a call from a lady from the company JJCOLE asking if I might be interested in letting Ava model. I was dumbfounded!!! I mean I think she's adorable, but I'm her mom (doesn't every mom think their kids are the cutest?)!!! I agreed and later that week we were at her photo shoot, I was dying! I promised I would post the pics, so here they are. Apparently they really liked her and they chose her for the packaging of the product, it's supposed to come out end of this year, I can't wait!!!
She did amazing, although I'm sure they might only get a few to work with! Another proud mommy moment! It was a great experience!

Our very first 5K!!!

So, we actually attempted our very first 5K! Due to some coaxing from a dear friend that we just reconnected with, we managed to somehow end up at a local race early one Saturday morning. Chase ran and did awesome, and I walked with my dad and the two kiddos, I think we doubled Chase's time....but I FINISHED!!! (Never thought that would happen!) All in all, it was a great experience, even if I came in last!

Ava's Blessing Day

Ava was blessed on Sunday, what an amazing experience for our little family! We were so lucky to be surrounded by the people we love the most, and for everyone that traveled so far, we thank you so much!
What a beautiful day, and a beautiful blessing thanks to Ava's daddy and Father in Heaven. I am so grateful for such an amazing husband that can share in the joy of blessing his family. I am grateful for the continual love we feel from our families as this amazing new addition has come into our lives! It truly was a day that I felt like my whole family was there, although physically we were not able to be together..and I am grateful for a Heavenly Father that continues to bless my life with such tender mercies. Thank you again to everyone, those there and those that couldn't make, we are just so grateful for family and I am especially grateful for my little family! I am one lucky wife and mother!

Ava Elizabeth Cutler was born on Friday March 12th at 2:12 PM. She was 8lbs. 7oz. and 20 inches long. She was born with a full head of hair, much to her parents disbelief. We are so grateful she has made it here to be with her family, what a blessing and sweet little girl she is. Carter is a wonderful big brother and is loving hugging and kissing his baby sister. We love you all and thank you for your support and prayers. Enjoy the pictures!!!

Carter is 2 and often TERRIBLE!!!

Carter turned 2 in November and although he has his shining moments as a normal 2 year old, he is still is sweet natured little self. We took him to get his 2 year pictures and they turned out amazingly adorable, im a little bias. Hope you enjoy... and hopefully the next time im blogging it will be about a new little one that has finally arrived....only 7 more weeks today!!!!!

Our Crazy Little Life!

Sorry for the lack of pictures, but it has been a crazy month around here!
1- We sold our house....WAHOOO!!!! Such a relief, but sad at the same time.
2- We moved in with the inlaws, a little nuts, but a true blessing. Hopefully just a step between places to live but with Chase almost done with school, we aren't sure where we will be so it's hard to settle down and get too comfy!
3- THE GREATEST NEWS EVER!!!!!
WE ARE HAVING A GIRL!!!!, for all of you who know me, i am now swimming in a sea of pink and i am so excited!!! The boys are just as excited as me, its crazy to think that our whole life is going to change yet again, and the Carter is going to be a big brother!
Goodness, that is the only word I can say to explain my gratefulness for the blessings I continue to be given in my life.
(Pictures on the way, just as soon as I find my cables to actually transfer them, HA!)

Family and Friends-
A new Cutler is on its way!!! We found out a few months ago that Carolyn is expecting a baby in March, she has been very sick but is feeling much better!
We find out on October 30th what we are having, and are excited to share with all of you are good news!
I think Carter is the most excited, he cries when he goes to bed if he doesn't get to give my belly a hug and a kiss, we are hoping the terrible twos will be on their way out before this new little one arrives!
Sorry for the delay is sharing this wonderful news, but its been sort of crazy around here! Ultrasound pictures will be on their way shortly!

This year was very different from last year, Carter really got into it. We had three Easter Egg Hunts and he went crazy at each of them, it melted my heart! He was so proud when he found an egg, and he even started going around putting eggs in his basket because i said he had enough. It was crazy to think my baby last year was walking around hunting for eggs this year. Time flies and suddenly they are no longer babies. All in all it was an amazing Easter, spent with the people we love thinking of an incredible gift given to us by our loving Savior.
It truly was a blessing to ponder on the gifts of the Atonement and Resurrection.

So, Carter is growing up! I was lying in bed sort of relaxing (falling asleep sitting up) and all the sudden I heard this growling coming from Carter's room. It started "ball....booo....poo, HAHAHAHA!" I shot out of bed and ran into his room to see him concentrating very hard and pushing while yelling "POO". I was mortified, but in the end had to laugh! My boy is definitely a boy!

I can't believe I let Christmas get away from me this year, I guess that just happens when you have kiddos.

Despite it being a month after Christmas we still want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and an amazing New Year!

We are so grateful for all of you in our lives and appreciate all the love and support we continually recieve from you all.

We did get one thing done this year, we got to enjoy the incredible ligths a temple square with Chase's whole family. It was gorgeous.....and FREEZING!

Carter is finally getting hair, Chase and I love messing with it. Everytime he gets out of the tub now we put lotion all over his head and give him CRAZY HAIR! He thinks its hilarious...that's Chase, not Carter.

Our Trip to Denver

We recently went to Denver for Chases Birthday, we decided that someday we want to to move there.

We hit the aquarium and the zoo, Carter loved them both.

He also had his first Jamba Juice, he cried when we took it away.

All in all, it was a wonderful trip, I held back tears as we packed.

A Loving Sister and Aunt

As many of you know my oldest sister Erin passed away this January. As a family we went this last Sunday to visit her grave, her gravestone was just placed last week and it was the first time that all of the siblings were together again since her funeral.

I just want to take a moment to share with all of you just how much I love my sister Erin.

I know that for a very long time Erin and I didn't get along, but these past few months without her have been some of the hardest of my life, there is not a day that goes by that I don't think about her. The last few months of her life will always be cherished, I gave birth to Carter right before her last surgery and I will never forget that she didn't want to tell me she was having surgery because she didn't want to take away from my moment. Erin was an amazing person, she showed love and acceptance to everyone. She was a great friend, sister and aunt to Carter and I will forever miss her. I loved her and know I never showed her enough, but I hope somehow she knows just how much I care about her.

Carter's First Zoo Day

We have a lot of cousins visiting this summer, all of them are a lot older than Carter, but we love to tag along as the BIG kids do stuff.

We went to Willow Park Zoo and Carter had no clue what was going on. Since he couldn't focus through the fences and mommy is too short to lift him over we didn't get to see much. But he loved being with his cousins. He did see one thing... a PEACOCK and he freaked out!

Happy Late Fourth of July

This year was the first year since Chase and I have been married to spend the Fourth of July together. We spent the day at the pool and hanging out with family and then we went to the FAMOUS CACHE VALLEY

FIREWORKS SHOW!!!

We were scared to take Carter so we got there early and got him accustomed to things, he loved the music and all the cousins he got to play with.

When it finally started I was so scared he was going to panic....but he has suprised me again, he totally loved them. I even tried to cover his ears but he kept batting my hands away. Hopefully this means we get to make it a family tradition. Happy Fourth Everyone!

Sippy Cups and New Teeth

Carter is getting so big! He loves to try new things and he newest love is Sippy Cups. I can't believe that he can already have them, but the doctor said go ahead!

Carter also got teeth this last few weeks, a few sleepless nights for us but they are finally here! They are hilarious looking, I tried to get a good picture but it's not great!

Graduation

Carolyn finally graduated from college. It was pretty exciting for everyone, especially Carter.

It seems like it's been forever since I started college and to be totally done with school is a very weird feeling, but it was great to see family there to support me on this special day!

Just want to send out a thank you to all my family and friends, you all really got me through these last four years of college, without you I don't think I ever would have finished. Chase, especially you. There were times you would stay up all night with me working on design projects, you probably did more than I did, so thank you so much!

This last weekend we wen to our cousins house in Provo, for a cutler cousin BBQ. It was a great time for all the adults to get together and let the kiddos play! Sadly Carter is the only boy cousin, so he just got lots and lots of kisses!! We had a great time, thanks to Dave and Candice.

1. When I was pregnant with Carter I never got sick, not once!!

2. Chase and I are total home-bodies! We would rather be at home in our pj's being lazy than going out on a date.

3. Chase never had a frozen t.v. dinner until we were married! We went to the store and bought them for one our very first family home evening activities. Also he never had package gravy til we were married either!!!

4. I swam almost everday when I was pregnant with Carter and now he loves taking baths. Coincidence? I think NOT.

5. Chase and I were married on FRIDAY THE THIRTEENTH, and nothing went wrong!!!

6. When Chase and I first met, I absolutely hated him. He worked awfully hard to get me to even hang out with him.

7. Chase is going to kill me for telling this, but his favorite store is PIER ONE IMPORTS!!! We love to go there and just look around!

In high school, I hated him and he worked really hard to make me like him.

A year and eleven days before his mission, and then a month and a half after his mission. I say I waited for him, but he says I was available when he got home.

I did, after a few months, and he said thanks. He told me three weeks later he loved me back.

It was a few days after my 16th birthday and Jess and Joel came with us. Joel lost his wallet and we spent the first hour or so looking for it. Then we went to dinner and I got sick. Not the greatest first date.

He did, at Olive Garden . It was January 8, 2004 and it snowed like 2 feet in a few hours. He proposed and then we went bowling.

Who has more siblings?

I do, I have 6 and he has 4.

Who wears the pants?

He thinks he does, but I really think it's me.

What is your favorite thing about him?

I love so much about him it's hard to start somewhere. I love that he loves me and Carter more than he can ever say. I love that he loves to spoil me, and that he always is trying to make me happy. I love that even though I hate sports he still tries to include me while hes watching. I love that he puts up with all my annoying habits. I love that he always tries to make me laugh, and I love when he really laughs. I love that everyday of his life he makes me fall in love with him all over again. I love you Chase!!! Today was Carter's first Valentine's Day, and it wasn't too eventful. But I just wanted to take a minute to express my love to my dear sweet husband.

Super Bowl Party

This last sunday was the Cutler Family holiday, THE SUPER BOWL!!!! We were all really excited to hang out and party, sadly Carter wasn't quite so jazzed about the game.

Cute Cousins

Carter was born at just the right time, he has two cute cousins just about his same age.

Carter and Sawyer are only a few months apart, I can't wait to see them pal around in the next few years.

Sydney and Carter are best buds, Sydney is older, but they are about the same size. Carter isn't quite sure how to react to Sydney wanting to give hugs, but they sure love to coo at eachother.

Our Amazing Family

Carter is lucky to have so much family that loves him so much. On both sides he completes four generations, he is the second grandchild on Chase's side and the ninth on Carolyn's. He has cute cousins and loving grandparents. We are so lucky to have so many people that care for our little guy.

Carter's First Bath

Carter loves his baths, he has from the very beginning. His baths have to be at least 15 minutes long and he still cries when I take him out of the water, and it's not because he's cold. He loves to kick and splash, he would stay in there all day if I would let him.

Hey Everyone,

Our little guy Carter Johnson Cutler was born on November 4th 2007. After many hours of labor and 2 1/2 hours of pushing I finally had a c-section and he was here. 8 lbs. 4 oz. and 22 1/2 inches long. We are so blessed to have this little man in our lives and we just love sharing his cute pictures with everyone. We know they aren't the cutest pictures, especially of me, but what can you say I just had a baby!

We are so excited for our little baby boy to get here. We are totally ready for him, all his clothes are washed, his nursery is decorated but he has decided he's just not ready yet. We loved decorating his nursery, Chase's BROWNIE is a great addition and Tracy gave us Chase's old dresser. We have been so blessed, our whole nursery was basically given to us, we have amazing grandparents, aunts and uncles who all love our son. We are so looking forward to being new parents. Chase talks to him every night and lets him know "he has to come out, cause we need to hang out. I love you buddy!" It's the cutest thing, I am just so excited to be a mom and not pregnant anymore. We can't wait to share our little man with all of you, so look forward to pictures. We love you all!

We are the proud parents of a little baby boy...we are just waiting for him to arrive! It's been such a joy to be pregnant, but I am even more excited to have our little blessing with us in person. It's been a long 7 1/2 months, but now it is just around the corner and we are so excited. My due date is October 29th, but we are hoping he wants to appear a little sooner.
